COSMETIC VALLEY calls on Europe to take action for the cosmetics industry

On March 17 in Brussels, the 17 CEOs of The Value of Beauty alliance met for a strategic day of dialogue with European institutions, in order to have beauty recognized as a strategic industry for Europe.

The program for this 2026 edition includes: high-level exchanges with European institutions, CEO Forum, press conference and reception bringing together the entire value chain and European decision-makers.

As a board member of the alliance, COSMETIC VALLEY represented the European cosmetics industry. During the meeting with Enrico Letta, the focus was on the fifth freedom he advocates in his report "The Future of the Single Market": the free movement of research, innovation, and education.

As a long-standing committed player at the European level, COSMETIC VALLEY works to bring research, innovation and skills closer together, while raising awareness of the need for more targeted access to European programs and better structuring of funding to support SMEs and scaling up.

COSMETIC VALLEY will continue its commitment in Brussels, alongside its partners, to make the cosmetics industry a recognized pillar of the European industrial future.
