Focusing on tomorrow's innovations: ACTT4Cosmetics brings its partners together in Portugal

6th Meeting for COSMETIC VALLEY and its European partners to continue building collaborative solutions for the transformation of the cosmetics industry.

On June 11, the partners of the European project ACTT4Cosmetics met in Covilhã, Portugal , for another highlight of cooperation and exchanges in support of the development of innovation projects on a European scale.

Hosted by LABFIT HPRD , this meeting allowed the consortium members to meet face-to-face to strengthen ties between the different European regions involved in the project for a common ambition: to support the transformation of the European cosmetics industry around the issues of sustainability, digital technology and innovation.

Beyond the working sessions, this meeting illustrated the strength of European collaboration fostered by ACTT4Cosmetics. By promoting exchanges between clusters, research centers, local authorities, and innovation stakeholders, the project helps create new opportunities for cooperation and strengthen synergies within the European cosmetics ecosystem.

Among the currently active working groups:

  • Resource sharing , aimed at strengthening the pooling of equipment, skills and infrastructure within the European ecosystem.
  • Digital traceability , dedicated to exploring the opportunities offered by digital tools to improve transparency and product tracking throughout the value chain.

Two new working groups will be jointly established in 2026:

  • A group on innovation in circular economy led by LABFIT HPRD , which will complement the actions already undertaken by the consortium.
  • A group dedicated to industrial tourism , led by COSMETIC VALLEY and the Centre Val-de-Loire Region, aims to promote the know-how, territories and innovation infrastructures of the European cosmetics industry.

If these working groups interest you, contact Kamil LEWITOWICZ ([email protected]), and register on the ACTT4Cosmetics website to benefit from the many tools developed within the project: monitoring of funding opportunities and European collaborations, participation in workshops, newsletter...

The consortium warmly thanks LABFIT HPRD for hosting us in Covilhã and looks forward to continuing this collective momentum in the coming months!
