Sensors & Biosensors: from skin to protection

Are you developing innovative sensors, biosensors, or analysis technologies related to human health or the environment?

We are looking for SMEs, start-ups or innovative technologies from the cosmetics sector, capable of contributing to the detection, monitoring or analysis of physiological or environmental data, in broader usage contexts (health, performance, environment, security).

Profiles sought :

• SMEs, start-ups, spin-offs or advanced research projects;
• Sensor technologies or biosensors, in the broad sense: physicochemical, infrared, terahertz, portable, embedded or connected sensors;
• Systems capable of measuring, detecting or analyzing elements having an impact on human health or the environment.

Targeted use cases :

• Health & diagnostics: detection of dangerous biological agents, infection, injury, physiological abnormalities;
• Performance & monitoring: tracking overall health, physical exertion, fatigue, stress or emotional reactions (e.g. fear);
• Environment: air, water or soil quality.

Example of data that can be measured :

• Biological agents: bacteria, viruses, toxins;
• Human biomarkers: brain activity, sweat, conductivity or skin analysis, genetic markers;
• Analysis of breath, bodily fluids, sensitivity (e.g., pupil/pore dilation), or reactions (e.g., piloerection).
