The hair market is undergoing a profound transformation driven by new consumer expectations: enhanced naturalness, scalp care, multifunctionality, and sophisticated rituals. Specialized brands for textured hair (types 3 to 4) are emerging with targeted products, while others are streamlining their offerings to offer all-inclusive ranges that integrate hygiene, care, and nutritional supplements.

The rise of scalp care, the rise of pre-shampoo treatments, dry shampoos, and leave-in products reflect a shift in traditional routines. Some consumers are favoring multi-use products, raw ingredients (e.g., pure oils), and active ingredients from skin care, and are adopting personalized approaches like DIY. Ayurvedic trends, the emergence of "spalons," and the gradual cessation of coloring after age 50 are reinforcing the shift toward more authenticity and new skincare models.

In this rapidly changing context, brands must address complex strategic challenges to reconcile innovation, naturalness, performance and credibility, in the eyes of a better informed and more demanding consumer.

The "Hair Odyssey" training course aims to build a solid and accessible scientific foundation to better anticipate, create, and collaborate between R&D and marketing. It provides a clear overview of biological fundamentals, hair disorders, and current cosmetic solutions to structure innovative, coherent, and differentiated projects in a rapidly evolving market.
