The CSRD is a regulatory requirement that cuts across all sectors and standardizes companies' extra-financial reporting on ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) issues. It requires companies to publish not only data, but also progress plans (on decarbonization, waste reduction, water/air/soil pollution, biodiversity protection, etc., but also from a social point of view on gender equality, diversity and inclusion, guaranteeing a decent standard of living, taking into account the issues of the company's stakeholders, etc.).
