This one-day training course puts cosmetic product safety at the heart of your approach. With a
By focusing on real-life cases, your feedback, and exchanges between professionals, you will build a
practical mastery of toxicological assessment, monitoring and operational responses to situations
criticisms. Aimed at regulatory officials, toxicologists and project managers, it emphasizes
on field actions, risk anticipation and practical alignment with European requirements in
safety regulations (cosmetics regulations, CLP/REACH), while using all your professional experience.
Regulatory Affairs Officers or Managers (finished products and ingredients), Toxicologists or Safety Assessors, Representatives or Agents of Control and Inspection Authorities, this training is for you!
Educational objectives:
- Identify key European regulatory requirements (Cosmetics Regulation, REACH, CLP) related to product and ingredient safety
- Provide a critical opinion on the safety margins (MOS) and the safety report.
Identify deadlines in the event of a critical occurrence, such as an ingredient reclassification or an increase in adverse effects. - Organize continuous monitoring, integrating regulatory monitoring, cosmetovigilance and controlled communication with the authorities
Skills targeted:
- Understanding and applying European regulations relating to the safety of cosmetic products and their ingredients
- Justify the toxicological safety of a cosmetic product by providing an opinion on safety margins (SOM) and toxicological profiles
- Responding to a risky situation by leveraging relevant security data and regulatory requirements
- Actively contribute to post-market compliance and vigilance by coordinating internal and external communications (authorities, partners, consumers)
Prerequisite: Activity related to cosmetic regulatory affairs
Format: In-person, 1 day (7 hours)
