RESEARCH AND TRAINING
PUBLIC RESEARCH LABORATORIES
Activity
Interest in cosmetic perfumery
lant physiology, molecular biology (gene function), in-vitro cultivation, Hairy roots.
Mechanisms of drought signal perception and transduction (study of the signaling pathway known as MSP or multiple phosphorylase and cytokinins) enabling plants to be tolerant to drought by maintaining, suppressing or accelerating their growth.
Research topic
The laboratory focuses on the biological, physiological
ecological and evolutionary mechanisms of animal and plant species in a context of global change. The laboratory thus encompasses most of the university's activities in plant biology and physiology, and insect biology and ecology.
The laboratory's activities focus on two main areas: 1 ) plant adaptation to climate change and drought climate change and drought, using multidisciplinary approaches physiology, ecophysiology, ecology and epigenetics. 2) the adaptation of
to their environment in a context of global change, including major issues such as invasive insects and insect vectors of human and animal diseases.
Experimental means
Equipment for in vitro culture (from cells to whole plants: shakers, air-conditioned chamber) and in greenhouses. Laminar flow hoods (microbiological safety station). Molecular biology (quantitative PCR, electrophoresis, etc.). Sample and plant extract preparation (freeze-dryer, grinder, Soxhlet, etc.). HPLC
