Beauty Hub: new call for start-up projects
Created by and for the sector,
the Beauty Hub is the first French device
dedicated to innovation in perfumery-cosmetics
The Beauty Hub was created by Cosmetic Valley with the help of a consortium of nine companies who have committed to pooling their resources and skills : a first in France!
Among these various actions, the Beauty Hub offers workspaces and runs an acceleration program for start-ups.
Beauty Up, new call for projects
3 areas of expertise at your service over 6 months of support:
• Business expertise to accelerate market access
• Technical expertise to develop new products, services and technologies
• Entrepreneurial expertise to grow the start-up
Eligibility criteria:
- Have an innovation that meets the various challenges of ecological, technological and digital transition
- Advanced level of maturity :
- - Structure created less than 5 years ago
- - Have an MVP (prototype already tested or marketed)
- - The thoughtful Business model and Business Plan
- Be available 2 days a week to attend the support program in Chartres for the first month of support (February 2021) then 2 days / month for the following months.
This innovation can respond to different themes:
- New raw materials from "greentech" to meet the different challenges of make-up: protection of color, UV radiation, color obtained in a natural way, facilitating the shaping of finished products...
- New natural and recyclable material for the sales area, product presentation.
- New technologies and services : personalization, tailor-made, augmented reality, virtual reality, colorimetry, objectification of performance evaluation (instrumentation & methodology), connected objects, demonstration technology (don't touch Covid suite issue)...
- Innovative packaging : new gestures, nomadism, “travel-friendly” format, innovative applicator, 100% recyclable packaging, biosourced packaging, new materials, etc.
- Process innovation: new machines, customization, factory of the future, IoT use, continuous processes, engineering of shaping and manufacturing technologies, dosing tool for pasty, anhydrous forms, etc.
It can also be applied to the make-up sector.
