AI at the service of skin tests: COSMETIC 360 Techcorner 2022 Zone

This area highlights a technology, developed by an academic research laboratory, which can find an application in the perfumery/cosmetics sector.
This year, Artificial Intelligence takes over TechCorner at Cosmetic 360.
Come and discover a new innovative technology for studying the skin via the combination of spectropolarimetry and AI .
Both from the ICube laboratory of the University of Strasbourg, Dr Jihad Zallat, (TRIO team – Remote sensing, Radiometry and Optical Imaging) and Dr Heinrich (IMAGES team – Images, Modeling, Learning, Geometry and Statistics), have developed an innovative device for analyzing the different layers of the skin in 3D, by Artificial Intelligence.
The innovation: The optical technology tool is based on the emission of polarized light beams at different wavelengths. This polarization will make it possible to penetrate more or less deeply into the layers of the skin. This optical technology combined with artificial intelligence will make it possible to process the different signals easily, and to dissociate the different layers of skin.
Thus, the vitality analyzes of the condition of the skin will be more precise and faster and will make it possible to safeguard a product 100% adapted to the consumer . An innovation to allow even more CUSTOMIZATION.
