Financing of innovative projects led by SMEs

The State and the Centre-Val de Loire Region as well as Brittany, Pays de la Loire, Provence Alpes-Côte-d'Azur, provide support to regional SMEs wishing to market innovative products or services, high added value, and having direct economic or technological spin-offs.

The support will target SMEs engaged in a research, development and innovation process (including non-technological innovation) to promote their growth and competitiveness.

This call for projects aims to support 2 types of projects:

Projects in the 'feasibility' phase

• The objective is to cover studies prior to the development of an innovation (work to formalize the project, preliminary studies, first developments, etc.)
  These projects must be at an early stage of their development and be completed in no more than 12 months.
  The minimum base for projects is €200,000 per project, for a grant of between €100,000 and €200,000 maximum per project.

• Projects in the 'development and industrialization' phase
  The objective is to support experimental development and industrial innovation projects, individual or shared and led by SMEs. The goals of these projects must be related to the industrial production and marketing of innovative products and/or services with high added value.
  The minimum base is €400,000, for financial aid in the form of a recoverable advance of between €100,000 and €500,000.
  The project must be completed in a maximum of 24 months.
