As part of its European innovation program ACTT4Cosmetics , COSMETIC VALLEY , in partnership with European stakeholders, is launching a Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI) dedicated to sustainable water management in the cosmetics industry.
Faced with environmental challenges and the need for an ecological transition in industry, this AMI aims to support the emergence of innovative solutions around the optimization, development and preservation of water resources .
Accelerate innovation in clean and eco-responsible technologies in the cosmetics industry.
Promote collaboration between startups, SMEs, laboratories and manufacturers .
Identify projects with high potential with a view to supporting regional, national or European funding mechanisms, such as Water4All 2025 .
Carry out a mapping of existing solutions applicable to the cosmetics value chain.
The targeted themes include (non-exhaustive list):
Reduction of water consumption in industrial processes.
Recycling and reuse of wastewater.
Development of water-free or low-water formulations .
Purification, filtration and disinfection technologies .
Smart sensors for real-time monitoring of water quality.
Nature-based solutions (NBS) .
Tools for measuring the impacts of climate change on water resources.
Valorization of water as an active ingredient (floral waters, thermal waters, etc.).
Project directly linked to sustainable water management .
Maturity level: minimum proof of concept (PoC) .
Ability to collaborate with other players in the sector or other industries.
Access to a national and European network of academic and industrial partners.
Organization of webinars and workshops to structure or challenge projects.
Possibility of presenting your project during a dedicated technical day .

The French cosmetics industry committed to protecting the oceans
As part of the "We Are The Ocean" program, Cosmetic Valley participated in the conference "Blue Beauty: innovation in cosmetics, a commitment to preserving the oceans" .
