COSMETIC VALLEY is the first association to join The Value of Beauty.
This campaign aims to bring together for the first time the entire European value chain of the cosmetics industry in order to promote its diverse ecosystem and recognize its economic and societal weight in Europe.
The cosmetics industry plays a vital economic and societal role in Europe. However, the importance and scale of its value chain are often underestimated. A major contributor to the EU economy with 29 billion euros per year, the sector employs more than 3 million people. A leader in innovation, investments in R&D amount to nearly 2.35 billion euros each year.

COSMETIC VALLEY is already established in Europe
COSMETIC VALLEY, coordinator of the French perfumery-cosmetics sector, is also founder and pilot of the S3 “GO4cosmetics” partnership formalized in 2021 by the European Commission. Based on this mandate from the European Commission at the interface between companies, Regions, economic development agencies, research and training establishments and clusters, COSMETIC VALLEY implements actions for the recognition of the sector in accordance with to European industrial policies.
