Two prizes to be won:

What is the project that you presented?
MW : T wo industrial biotechnology processes, in which cells recycle renewable carbon from organic byproducts or carbon dioxide emissions, to produce antioxidant oils and palm oil alternatives with a footprint Minimal CO2.
OP: A model of human skin reinnervated by human neurons obtained from stem cells, to better understand skin physiology and for testing molecules and finished products.
What did this experience bring you?
MW : Our reward could not have been greater. The event allowed us to meet exceptional personalities who are fighting for a more sustainable cosmetics industry. Our project was improved by listening to industry challenges.
OP : A real opportunity to present a project to a panel of industrial experts, which allows for meetings that could lead to collaborations. COSMETIC VALLEY's support allowed us to optimize the protocol and promote the model.
Where is your project today?
MW: A fruitful development on several levels. We improved our bioprocesses, shipped commercial oil samples to early industrial users, doubled the size of our team, and found a new lab.
OP : The model is used in the laboratory to better understand skin physiology and used by the cosmetics industry for molecule testing. Finally, it is also being developed on the pathological side.
Do you recommend applying for this competition?
MW : Yes, it was a great personal experience. It led to a strategic partnership. The COSMETIC VALLEY team, friendly and professional, works tirelessly to ensure that startups are integrated into the sector.
