Generative artificial intelligence made a name for itself with the Chat GPT revolution, which arrived in early 2023.

Using sophisticated algorithms, generative AI models are capable of producing original content, ranging from music and visual art to text writing and even product design.

On Tuesday June 20, the COSMETIC VALLEY General Assembly was held in Évreux.

Many topics were on the agenda of this meeting:

• The dynamics of the cosmetics sector in the Normandy Region with which the cluster formalized the signing of a three-year contract 2023-2025 in the presence of Sophie Gaugain, 1st Vice-President. Read the press release
• The specificity of the ecosystem located in the territory of Evreux Portes de Normandie, whose President Guy Lefrand welcomed us to the remarkable Légendre Theater.
• The cluster's many projects in terms of transitions, employment , innovation , and internationalization .

This 29th edition is part of a favorable context for the cosmetics sector , which in 2022 marks a record year for exports (19.1 billion euros). A year of good results for our association at the service of economic development with the mobilization of more than 2,000 participants in our network events and congresses, the labeling of 27 R&D projects, the acceleration of 10 start-ups and export support of nearly 180 SMEs. At the dawn of its 30th anniversary, COSMETIC VALLEY unveils its new major strategic orientations, with messages and actions connected to the challenges and new societal expectations. On February 9 at the Château de Versailles, the competitiveness cluster presented its new roadmap and its 5 priority projects to all players in the sector (business leaders, researchers, institutions, regional representatives): recognition of the sector by public authorities in France and Europe; continuation of the Research and Innovation dynamic: key to competitiveness; promotion of trades in the sector; consolidation of the links between the actors of the sector and the reinforcement of the attractiveness; export support for SMEs and increase in French soft power.

COSMETIC VALLEY thus carries the voice of France throughout the world with a new communication at the service of the sector:
